A New Capitol

When the United States was created, it consisted of the former 13 colonies and was much smaller than it is today.  It was focused on the East Coast.  Since then, the country has expanded West and South, and now the capitol, Washinton, D.C. is a long distance from those of us on the West Coast.  If you could relocate (move) the capitol to a new location, where would you put it?  Why?  Post a comment explaining where and why.

If I had to decide where the capital would be I would say Kansas because it is in the middle.A long time ago they chose d.c. because it was in the middle because there was only the north east

    Micole speaking:
I think that the country capitol should
stay in Washington DC because it
has a lot of history in it.

    Monica says:
I think that the country capitol should
move to Kansas so it can be in the
    middle of the whole country.

we would put it in Florida because it’s right by Marine World. So when we’re done going to the White House we could play at Marine World.
